About NCALL

NCALL has been in business serving the Delmarva Peninsula since 1976. NCALL is an IRS designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dover, Delaware that specializes in affordable housing development, education and lending. As a service provider for lower income households, NCALL also offers pre-purchase counseling, financial literacy and default and foreclosure programs to the public. As an intermediary working on the Delmarva Peninsula, NCALL assists locally based nonprofits to develop multi-family housing projects, mostly apartments, through a variety of development services such as financial packaging, asset management, and organizational development.

Current Info

A USDA contract to provide Regional Self-Help Housing Technical and Management Assistance enables NCALL to assist and train organizations interested in or already operating self-help, sweat equity, homeownership programs throughout a 21 state service area including the northeast and north central portion of the nation. Additionally, NCALL's Loan Fund provides various financial products to aid housing development and to enhance the capacity of nonprofit housing organizations.

NCALL is a chartered member of the 235 member NeighborWorks America network of excellence. HUD certified NCALL as a Housing Counseling Agency. US Treasury has certified NCALL as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and a Community Development Entity (CDE). Finally, NCALL is an affiliate member of the United Way of Delaware. All certifying organizations do regular management/fiscal/program reviews.

NCALL is a high production organization with measurable outcomes and substantial community impact. The organization has a fully engaged, active, and representative Board of Directors. Personnel are experienced with substantial tenure and credentials. NCALL has a rich history of successfully tackling difficult housing issues, a collaborative orientation, and a professional manner of operations.
